Aurora

Aurora Aksnes was born on June 15, 1996, in Stavanger and known professionally as Aurora often stylized in uppercase in the form of AURORA is an Norwegian singer and songwriter. Her debut E.P. Running with the Wolves was released by Label Decca Records in May 2015 and received a lot of praise from musicians and music blogs as well as the media. She's also recorded some high-profile covers, such as Half the World Away (by the band Oasis) to accompany John Lewis' Christmas advert and Nature Boy (by Nat King Cole) and have been widely praised. Katy Perry, who endorsed the hit song Runaway through her music, gave an additional boost to the music. Happy birthday to her. Aurora Aksnes earliest musical memory was of discovering a piano in her attic and being awed with the sounds it could make. Jan Oystein Aksnes and May-Britt Aksnes encouraged Aurora to take up music, not for a job or as an interest, but for the sake of growing. To achieve this she started writing her own new compositions. Her influence comes from famous writers Leonard Cohen and Bob Dylan along with her love of Bjork's style. Her mother urged her to play her music on stage, not for the sake of trying to become famous but rather assist others in understanding how valuable that they are, and the impact they can contribute to the world. When she was six She began playing the piano, and when she was nine began writing her own songs. It wasn't known to her family that she had begun until fourteen. Aurora is not something she set out to achieve. According to her, she simply is a fan of writing songs. Music to her is the most effective way to experience whatever.
