Aurora Aksnes was born on June 15, 1996, in Stavanger and known professionally as Aurora often stylized in uppercase in the form of AURORA is an Norwegian singer and songwriter. Her debut E.P. Running with the Wolves was released by Label Decca Records in May 2015 and received a lot of praise from musicians and music blogs as well as the media. She's also recorded some high-profile covers, such as Half the World Away (by the band Oasis) to accompany John Lewis' Christmas advert and Nature Boy (by Nat King Cole) and have been widely praised.
